Golf Courses
TorreMirona Golf Club
TorreMirona Golf Club is a 18 holes, par 72 golf coruse is set in beautiful rolling countryside with panoramic views overlooking the snow-capped mountains of the Pyrenees. The course has been constructed to the highest standard and is immaculately maintained throughout the year. The generous greens and relatively flat terrain make the course suitable for novice and high handicap players but several well placed lakes and the many beautifully constructed bunkers also offer a technical challenge for the experienced golfer. With 8 other quality golf courses within 45 minutes driving distance, five of which have been voted in the top 50 in Europe by Golf World it is hardly surprising that The Association of Golf Tour Operators voted the Costa Brava as ´Best Emerging Golf Destination Worldwide´.

Club de Golf Peralada
Peralada Golf Club course, with an 18-hole course and a total distance of 5,990 metres, is ideal for holding competitions of all levels or enjoying a pleasant and relaxed day. It is considered a course suitable for all players, since its design adapts to different levels of play. The 18 holes —divided into five par 3s, four par 5s and nine par 4s— are divided into two 9-hole courses that begin and end at the clubhouse, the first par 36 and the second par 35, which, added , complete the total par 71 of the course. The design of the golf course maintains great respect for the environment: not in vain is it the first course to obtain the EMAS Certification of the European Union. It is located in the PERALADA RESORT, where we also find the cellars, the castle, the casino and, on the golf course itself.

Emporda Golf - Forest Course
Emporda's second course is by no means an inferior track. The Forest is certainly a different proposition, but is equally as enjoyable. The course is Mediterranean is style, with rolling fairways carved out of the pine trees indigenous to the landscape, taking in the expansive lakes that can certainly wreak havoc with your score card. Since its inauguration, Emporda has received many plaudits, but two highlights stand out; in the late 1990s it was included in the list of Spain's top ten courses, while in 1996, the ‘Peugeot Golf Guide' named it 13th best for design in all of continental Europe. Emporda's two courses are home to a network of lakes, which certainly add much to the resort's aesthetic appeal, but they will also claim many a golf ball, so be sure to stock up!

- Clubhouse: 2 restaurants-bars, changing rooms, lockers, rental clubs

- Golf academy: Driving Range with 2 tees, practice bunker
Emporda Golf - Links Course
The Links Course at Emporda, as its name suggests, is heavily influenced by the seaside courses of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Cut through the dunes and lakes of the natural environment, the Links will demand creativity and the use of every club in the bag. At 6,304 metres, the course demands powerful striking as well as imagination, and is a true joy to play.

Camiral Golf - Stadium Course
Despite only opening for play in the late 1990s, Camiral Golf (PGA Catalunya) has established itself firmly in the exclusive list of Spain's best, aided by the award of a number of prestigious national and international events, both amateur and professional. The highlight came when the course was chosen to host two European Tour events in the space of 10 months, the Gene Sarazen World Open and the Peugeot Spanish Open. A culmination of more than a decade of planning and design by the European Tour, Angel Gallardo and Neil Coles, The Stadium Course offers an exciting and testing examination of golf and, due to the fact that each hole can be played from one of five separate tee positions, even golfers with the most modest of handicaps can enjoy the ride. It is from the back tees though that the Stadium Course really bares its teeth. Measuring over 7,200 yards from the tips, the Stadium Course requires solid hitting but it’s not simply a case of strength over strategy. Winding its way through the foothills Pyrenees, the Stadium Course features a number of large lakes, tree lined fairways that pinch in at specific distances and well bunkered greens which are maintained to the highest possible standard year-round. All of this calls for plenty of thought and strategy from the tee and with a great deal of variety throughout, the test of golf on offer here is a dynamic and infinitely enjoyable one.

Camiral Golf - Tour Course
The Tour Course at Camiral Golf (PGA Catalunya) may be considered as the poor relation to the epic Stadium Course but that is no slight on the test of golf it offers golfers travelling to this sunny corner of Spain. Measuring 6,453 yards, The Tour Course is far less challenging than its illustrious sibling but it remains equally as enjoyable. Fairways are more generous but tee shots must still be played with care though as, like the Stadium Course, this charming layout is bordered by majestic woodland and with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards lurking in the most cunning of positions, approach shots must be carefully considered as well.

Golf Platja de Pals
Since opening for play in 1966, Golf Platja de Pals has maintained an enviable reputation as one of Spain's top 50 golf courses, a fact underlined by it was the home of the first European Tour – Spanish Open in 1972 and numerous of Spanish national events. The estate is situated just a few metres from the coastline, and with the sandy turf underfoot, there is a distinctly British accent to the course, making it a home away from home during your golf getaway in the Girona area of the Costa Brava.

Club Golf d'Aro Mas Nou
From its prime location 300 metres above sea-level and surrounded by the Gavarres Natural Area, Club Golf d’Aro - Mas Nou in Platja d’Aro (Girona) offers players breathtaking panoramic views of the Costa Brava. The course, designed by Ramón Espinosa in 1990, is a spectacular par 72 eighteen-hole and par 3 nine-hole championship course. The first part presents a gently undulating terrain, while the uneven surface of the second adds a little more technique to the game. The course has been designed for the ambitious player who enjoys a challenge, especially those with low and medium handicaps, but also for less experienced golfers. We have been creative with the tees to test the skill and refined technique of the expert golfer, and have reduced the longer distances to help beginners with their game. The course is not unduly aggressive, with gentle rough, water hazards, bunkers that play a decisive role in the game and wide smooth greens, benefitting the putt.

Club de Golf Costa Brava
The 27 hole golf course at Club de Golf Costa Brava has been carved through the surrounding pine and cork oak forests and has been formed by 3 distinct nine hole loops. The Green Course is the original, corresponding to the inauguration of the club. The first 9 holes run along the gentle slope of the hill, between the houses of the urbanization and the second, flatter, approach the Vall d'Aro. The Red course includes the second round of green and the new holes inaugurated in 2014. With a more notable presence of water throughout the course, the greens, undulating and fast, test, above all, the player's short game.
