Golf Courses
La Hacienda Links Golf Resort: Links Course
Formerly known as Alcaidesa Links, the course opened in 1992. Designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, the course was completely renovated in 2021–2022 by Kurtis Bowman. The course, which includes many elevation differences, is unique in its landscape. The Mediterranean Sea, the Rock of Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains of Africa in the background are visible throughout the entire 18-hole round. The course is challenging, although it is open, the fairways are wide and the greens and bunkers are large. Quite difficult to play on foot.

La Hacienda Links Golf Resort: Heathland Course
Formerly known as Alcaidesa Heathland, the course opened in 2007. Designed by David Thomas. The Heathland course is a great addition to the Alcaidesa course complex. For those with a higher handicap, it is more challenging due to its length and requires mastery of all aspects of the game. The natural landscapes vary from a moorland-like plateau area with wide fairways and exceptional sea views to a valley area with undulating fairways and various water hazards. Here too, the wind can have a significant impact on the game. Certificates of good quality and environmental management exist. There are many differences in altitude, so it is worth considering using a golf cart.

The San Roque Club: Old Course
The course opened in 1990. Designed by Dave Thomas and Tony Jacklin. The San Roque Club is located in the so-called golden triangle, which also includes Valderrama and Sotogrande. The park-like course's gently rolling, narrow front nine fairways are bordered by an old cork tree forest. Opening shots must be straight and accurate, although the raised edges of many fairways make it easier. The strategic placement of bunkers and the treacherous water hazards on the back nine also require precision from approach shots. After a complete renovation, the course is considered one of the best in Europe.

Real Club Valderrama
The course was opened in 1975. Designed by Robert Trent Jones. Club de Golf Valderrama hosted the Ryder Cup in 1997 and has hosted the Volvo Masters Andalucía, a European Tour qualifier, for several years. The course is ranked as the best in continental Europe and the overall appearance of the course is consistent with this. The club is also committed to protecting the environment. Narrow fairways bordered by ancient cork oak forests and pine trees, elevated and difficult-to-read greens and the wind make the course very challenging from a strategic perspective.

Real Club de Golf Sotogrande
The course was opened in 1964. Designed by Robert Trent Jones. Opened in 1964, the course was Robert Trent Jones Senior's first design in Europe and he himself considers it one of his best. The course is located in a quiet and prestigious area near the sea and is surrounded by luxury villas. The wide fairways on flat terrain are lined with old pines, palms, cork oaks, eucalyptus and olive trees. The many lakes, well-placed bunkers and large, difficult-to-read greens provide a real challenge.

La Reserva Club
The course opened in 2003. Designed by Cabell B Robinson. The long and wide course, built on 72 hectares, is one of the best on the coast, like other courses in the Sotogrande area. The fairways of the course, which offers beautiful views, are hilly and wide, and the greens are large, often multi-level, difficult to read and very well protected by obstacles. A beautiful course suitable for players of all levels. There are not too many differences in height, so it is also easy to walk.

Club de Golf La Cañada
Club de Golf La Cañada was the first public golf course on the Costa del Sol. It is located in the elevated area of Guadiaro in southern Spain. La Cañada Golf Course was established in 1982 with 9 holes designed by David Thomas and was later expanded with a second 9 holes designed by Trent Jones. It is a pleasant and varied complex with magnificent views. The terrain of Golf La Cañada is not flat, but the slopes are gentle. The main features are the excellently maintained greens, the large number of trees, mainly native species, and the 18th ravine that gives the course its name.

Finca Cortesin Golf Club
The course, which opened in 2006, was designed by the famous architect Cabell Robinson. The layout is successful and blends well with the terrain, taking into account nature conservation aspects, offers magnificent sea and mountain views and individual, memorable holes with quite a lot of elevation difference. Despite the open, wide fairways, there are plenty of challenges. The course has over 100 white, marble sand and beautifully shaped bunkers. Finca Cortesin is undoubtedly one of the best courses in Spain, hosting many major events, including the Solheim Cup in 2023.

Valle Romano Golf Club
The course opened in 2010. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson. The course in Estepona is clearly above average. Offering magnificent sea and mountain views, Valle Romano is quite challenging in terms of terrain. There are many elevation changes, the fairways alternate up and down. Impressive, different holes. The large sloping greens allow for many flag positions. The use of a buggy is an option well worth considering.
