Golf Courses
Valle del Este Golf Club
The course was opened in 2003. Designed by Jose Canales. The course design paid special attention to utilizing the original vegetation and blending the course into the surrounding landscape. The layout is successful and the course has many beautiful, different fairways, some of which are difficult. The course is surrounded by rugged wilderness. The teeing grounds are elevated, the bunkers and greens are large. The fairways are narrow in places and there are also differences in height. The houses built too close to a few fairways are a bit disturbing. The course has 3 lakes. It is also possible to walk, although you should consider using a golf cart.

Desert Springs Golf Club: Indiana Course
The course was opened in 2000. Designed by Peter McEvoy Europe's first Arizona-style wilderness course, the Indiana course, where only the fairways, greens and teeing grounds are green. The rest of the environment is sandy desert, decorated with thousands of transplanted cacti, rock piles, dry riverbeds, streams and lakes. The overall impression is a rugged and beautiful Wild West landscape. A flat course with a slight hilliness built into it. Large greens and some water (3 lakes on the course). The partial narrowness of the fairways favors precise openings. Easily playable on foot.

Beaches and Covers
If there is something that stands out in Almería, it is its beaches, many of them awarded with the blue flag. The visitor to the Levante of Almería can choose between urban beaches and virgin beaches . The first, with all the services such as those found next to the tourist urbanizations of Vera , Mojácar , or the coastal town Garrucha . The temperature of the Mediterranean Sea and its clean waters attract the influx of bathers and lovers of water sports during most of the year. As for the virgin beaches, in Almería, and specifically in this area, we can find several examples of spaces that escaped urban development in their day and that currently constitute some of the most beautiful beaches in the entire Mediterranean, having been many of they even set the scene for a multitude of film productions and television commercials. Playa de los Muertos is one of those examples, it is located in the municipality of Carboneras (within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, a must-see for its unique landscapes), it is an isolated, virgin, wild beach without any human construction, which is only accessed through a pedestrian path. It owes its name to the equipment of ships that were shipwrecked in the area and that the currents brought to the beach. The emblematic beaches of Los Genoveses, Las Negras, Cala Chica, Los Escullos or Mónsul , are other places that the visitor who loves special coastal corners should not miss in this area of Andalusia

Visit Mojacar
Mojácar, a charming corner in the province of Almería, is one of those places that seem straight out of a fairy tale. With its distinctive layout of white houses perched on a hill, Mojácar is a perfect blend of the serenity of the mountains and the vitality of the sea. This Andalusian town, steeped in history and surrounded by stunning landscapes, is the ideal destination for those looking to unwind and immerse themselves in the authentic essence of southern Spain. The old town of Mojácar is a gem waiting to be discovered. Its narrow, steep streets, flanked by whitewashed houses, offer a unique experience to the walker. At every step, small details are revealed that speak of its rich cultural heritage. In the centre of the town, the Plaza Nueva offers a spectacular viewpoint from which you can contemplate both the mountains and the sea, a contrast that defines the essence of Mojácar. Walking around Mojácar is like entering a labyrinth of beauty. Its streets, which go up and down between white houses adorned with geraniums and bougainvillea, are a true spectacle for the senses. The small craft workshops, art galleries and local produce shops that dot the old town are a must for those looking to bring a little piece of Mojácar home.
